Monthly EU material import reports

Dated snapshots of EU27 imports from outside the EU, using MatQuo's existing Eurostat COMEXT material selections. These are customs unit values, not spot prices.

What each report contains

Compare import customs unit values in euros per tonne, month-on-month changes and the three largest origins by declared import value. Each report includes an attributed CSV, product codes, the previous calendar month used in the comparison, net mass, declared value and a citation. The selections cover polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, PET, primary aluminium, hot-rolled steel, refined copper, kraft paper and float glass.

Snapshots and live statistics

The report month is the observation period, not the publication month. Eurostat releases monthly trade data with a lag and can revise earlier records. These pages preserve the figures retrieved on 2026-10-04; they do not silently substitute later revisions. The live statistics and methodology explain the current source selection and calculation limits.

Use the RSS feed to follow published snapshots. Only the three most recent months already supported by the existing data were backfilled for this release. MatQuo is free to use, with no sign-up required.
